1. About these terms
This website is run by Beyond The Trees Consultancy LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales with registered number OC454822, whose registered office is at Units 2 & 3, West Down Farm, Corton Denham, Sherborne, DT9 4LG (“we”, “us”). By using this website you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.
These terms cover your use of the website only. Any work we do for you is governed by a separate written agreement. Please also read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
2. Using the website
You may use this website for lawful purposes and in line with these terms. You must not:
- use it in a way that is unlawful, fraudulent or harmful
- try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or any connected systems
- introduce viruses or other malicious code
- scrape, copy or harvest content in bulk by automated means without our written permission
- use the site to send unsolicited marketing or spam
We may suspend or restrict access at any time, for example for maintenance or security reasons.
3. Our content and intellectual property
We own, or are licensed to use, everything on this website, including the text, designs, graphics, logos, the “25 Rules” and our frameworks, including “Nine Rights to Win” (together, “our content”). It is protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws. All rights are reserved.
You may view our content, and print or download extracts for your own internal business use. You may also quote short extracts, for example in an article or presentation, as long as you credit “Beyond The Trees” and link back to this website.
You may not otherwise copy, reproduce, republish, sell, adapt or commercially use our content, or present it as your own, without our written permission. If you’d like to use our frameworks in workshops, training or client work, please get in touch.
4. Information, not advice
The content on this website is general information and opinion. It is not professional, financial, legal or investment advice, and it is not tailored to your circumstances. Please don’t rely on it as the basis for a decision without taking advice that fits your situation.
Using this website, contacting us or reading our content doesn’t create a client relationship with us. That only happens when we agree to work together in writing.
We take care to keep the website accurate and up to date, but we give no promise that it is complete, current or error-free. Case studies, testimonials and results describe particular situations, and past results don’t guarantee future outcomes.
5. Testimonials and third-party content
Testimonials and quotes on this website are published with the permission of the people who gave them. Any logos or names of other organisations belong to their owners and appear with their permission or for identification only, and don’t imply endorsement beyond what is stated.
6. Links to other websites
This website may link to other websites, such as LinkedIn. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or privacy practices. A link isn’t an endorsement.
7. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that can’t legally be limited or excluded.
Subject to that, and because the website is provided free of charge:
- we provide it “as is”, and don’t promise that it will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors or viruses
- we aren’t liable for any loss that results from using the website or relying on its content, including loss of profit, revenue, business, data or goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss
- our total liability to you in connection with the website will not exceed £100
If you are using this website as a consumer, these terms don’t affect your statutory rights.
8. Privacy and cookies
How we use personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy, and how we use cookies is explained in our Cookie Policy.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date at the top. By continuing to use the website after a change, you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or this website, are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, although if you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK you may also bring a claim in your local courts.
